Christchurch Tramway is a quality inner city tour experience that combines the heritage of the trams, 
attractions and historic buildings with the culture of the Garden City.
The beautifully restored heritage trams are also available for cocktail functions or a unique dining experience on the Christchurch Tramway Restaurant.
Tram Tour:
The inner city of Christchurch is a special place with many 
different things to see and do for locals and visitors alike. The best way to experience the magic of the central city, is from onboard our
beautifully restored trams.
The 2.5 kilometre track takes about 25-minutes to complete and allows you to take in many of the "must see" attractions. These include Cathedral Square,
Aquarium of Discovery, The Arts Centre, The Art Gallery, Botanical Gardens, Canterbury Museum, Punting on the Avon, New Regent Street and Cathedral Junction to name just a few.
Tram drivers provide a live entertaining and informative commentary 
throughout the journey and guests are encouraged to hop on and off the trams at leisure to explore the sights up close.
Tickets can be purchased from your friendly driver or conductor, as you board your tram.

- Christchurch is famous for its fabulous dining, entertainment, breath-taking scenery and cultural heritage. Combine all
of the above onboard the Christchurch Tramway Restaurant where dining is not only a culinary delight but also a trip back into history.

They invite you to sit back in the luxury of their air-conditioned, colonial style, dining
tram and be treated to the finest service, cuisine and beverages that New
Zealand has to offer.

In addition to their daily dining experience, the Christchurch Tramway Restaurant is available for special events such as birthdays, weddings and business functions.
- The tram can seat up to a maximum of 36 diners.
- Breakfast, lunch, morning & afternoon tea available for group bookings only (minimum group booking of 20 people). Please note, there is no minimum number
required for evening dining.
- Departs daily at 7.30pm from the Tram Station tram stop in Cathedral Junction, (off Worcester St, behind Christchurch Cathedral).
- Reservations are essential.
